The Rats are playing a homecoming 40th anniversary gig on Sunday 6th December 2015.  Support from The Trouble Pilgrims aka The Radiators from Space playing their 1977 album TV Tube Heart in its entirety (all 33 minutes of it).

Last tickets remaining in the upper circle for 39 euro via Ticketmaster Ireland and doubtless other ticket agencies.

The Rats will be appearing at The Cork Opera House on the Thursday 22nd October 2015 as part of the Guinness Jazz Festival.

Rats, Jazz, Opera! That statement ranks as the greatest oxymoron I have ever written!

Still a very good excuse to head to Cork where their last gig in a tent went down a storm.  The Opera House sounds like another interesting venue.
